Thailand has revised its national minimum daily wage as indicated below, on a province-by-province basis.
Whilst a small number of provinces that experience a heavy inflow of tourists have received wage increases to 400 Baht a day, other provinces have only experienced an increase of 2% above the previous wage level.
These rates will apply with effect from 1 January 2025.
400 Baht - Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Phuket, Rayong, Koh Samui district of Surat Thani
380 Baht – Mueang district of Chiang Mai, Hat Yai district of Songkhla
372 Baht – Bangkok, Nakorn Pathom, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Samut Prakan, Samut Sakhon
359 Baht – Nakorn Ratchasima
358 Baht Samut Songkram
357 Baht - Chiang Mai (except Mueang Chiang Mai District), Khon Kaen, Nakorn Sri Ayutthaya, Prachin Buri, Saraburi
356 Baht - Lop Buri
355 Baht –Nakorn Nayok, Nong Khai, Suphan Buri
354 Baht – Krabi, Trat
