Now Occupying More Than 50,000 Square Feet of Prime Dallas Real Estate, Eyes Expansion via Strategic Lateral Hiring

Bell Nunnally has expanded its long-term lease at KPMG Plaza at HALL Arts, adding 10,247 square feet to the 41,693 already under contract. The firm has been a tenant of the Dallas Arts District building since 2018 when it relocated from Uptown. Bell Nunnally’s expanded lease was signed late 2024 and took effect at the start of 2025, extending the firm’s overall lease to late 2039.

“We are thrilled to add to our physical office space,” said Christopher Trowbridge, managing partner of Bell Nunnally. “Through our lease expansion in the world class Dallas Arts District, we are furthering our commitment to our vibrant in-office work culture and our goal to increase Bell Nunnally’s headcount to service more domestic and international clients in the rapidly growing Texas market.”

Bell Nunnally occupies the two penthouse floors of KPMG Plaza at HALL Arts, an 18-story, 500,000-square-foot office building in the Dallas Arts District. The LEED Gold-certified building opened in 2015. The Dallas Arts District recently won USA Today’s competition for best arts district in the U.S. for the second consecutive year.

In 2024, Bell Nunnally’s offices were featured in the inaugural edition of Dallas Business Journal’s “Coolest Offices in DFW” feature. The article notes that Bell Nunnally leaders view the office as a major asset for recruiting and retaining top talent where “organic mentoring happens on an hourly basis, because it doesn’t have to be scheduled.”

Bell Nunnally’s newly leased space accommodates more than 30 additional workspaces/offices, adds three conference rooms and includes a grand welcome area. Attorney offices and space for professional staff are currently being built out, with the firm’s accounting and IT teams expected to receive additional dedicated space.

Bell Nunnally Real Estate Partner Jean Pierre Boyea led negotiations for the firm, working in concert with brokers Jeff and John Ellerman at Stream Realty.

“It was a pleasure working with all deal parties, particularly Jeff and John, to get this expanded lease done,” said Boyea. “Part of what I love to do for clients is help them achieve the right deal for the right space. I recognized the importance of taking on this task for our own firm and am confident we have positioned Bell Nunnally well now and into the future.”
