DETAIL Advises Transgrid Enerco on Landmark Acquisition of 60% Stake in Eko DisCo
Detail Commercial Solicitors (DETAIL) acted as legal advisors to Transgrid Enerco Limited, a strategic alliance comprising North South Power Company Limited, Axxela Limited, and the Stanbic IBTC Infrastructure Growth Fund, on the negotiation and signing of a Share Purchase Agreement for the proposed acquisition of a 60% equity stake in Eko Electricity Distribution Company (Eko DisCo) -Nigeria’s second-largest electricity distribution company.
This transaction which is subject to regulatory approvals was led by DETAIL’s M&A Partner, Temidayo Ajayi with support from an exceptional team including Power sector partners, Dolapo Kukoyi and Anthony Ezeamama, and other team members – Moyosoreoluwa Olajuyigbe, Tolulope Olayiwola, Jason Onumbu and Moyogbemi Nesiama.
