HY Chong began his legal career with Azman Davidson in 1991 and became the Managing Partner of the firm in 2012. He also heads the General Litigation and Corporate practice in the firm.
HY Chong specialises in company law and real estate, with an emphasis in insolvency, take overs and mergers, listings and property developments. He has a diverse dispute resolution portfolio, from defending hostile takeovers to contested insolvency cases. He also provides advisory services for listings, restructurings, complex project development and the establishment of new businesses in Malaysia.
HY Chong is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FICArb).
